How Extra Minutes handles data in plain English.
Who we are
Extra Minutes Limited is the data controller for Extra Minutes account, club, team, friendly, support, and verification data.
Extra Minutes helps grassroots teams connect and arrange friendlies, training games, and casual games.
Data we collect
The product may collect account details such as email address, display name, sign-in identifiers, and verification status. It also stores club and team details such as club name, sport, colours, contact email, age-band inputs, experience, gender or category information, and optional location details.
It may also handle friendly listing, interest, availability poll, chat, notification, subscription, payment-reference, support-contact, and verification-document data so the core product workflows can run.
How we use data
Data is used to create accounts, manage clubs and teams, arrange friendlies, run availability polls, manage access, review verification requests, send configured notifications, support chat, answer support messages, protect sessions, and keep the service secure and reliable.
Sharing data with other users
Some sharing is core to how the product works. Friendly listings may show team, club, friendly, and venue details at the stage needed for discovery or confirmation. Hosts may see interest messages and proposed venues. Availability poll links are public-by-link for the people they are shared with.
Service providers
Extra Minutes relies on configured service providers for things such as sign-in, hosting, database storage, private-file handling, optional payments, optional address lookup, optional email, optional push, backups, and operational monitoring.
Personal data is not sold, but some data is processed by configured service providers so the service can operate.
Retention and rights
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to operate Extra Minutes, support clubs and teams, respond to issues, meet legal or safety obligations, and maintain appropriate records. We review and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal data. Requests may need identity checks and may be subject to practical or legal limits.
Uploaded verification documents are used to review the club verification request and are removed after review is complete. Extra Minutes may keep a record of the verification outcome for account, safety, and audit purposes.
Children and youth sport
Extra Minutes is intended for club owners, organisers, coaches, and authorised adults. It is not intended for children to create or manage their own accounts.
Users must only provide child or youth information where they are authorised to do so. Availability poll links may be accessible to anyone with the link, so organisers should only share them with intended people and avoid entering unnecessary personal information.
Contact
Use the Contact page for privacy questions, account requests, export or access requests, correction requests, deletion requests, verification-document questions, support issues, or concerns about a child's data.
